Overview

Billigence seeks an experienced Analytics Engineer to join a high-impact data consolidation program. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data models and reporting layers that serve as a single source of truth across the organisation. A key focus will be building a Golden Metrics framework and migrating existing dashboards into a unified platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build robust, well-documented data models in BigQuery using dbt
  • Create and manage a centralised reporting data layer ensuring consistency and accuracy
  • Support migration of dashboards from legacy platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker) to the new consolidated environment
  • Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business logic into scalable data solutions
  • Implement data quality controls and governance practices
  • Monitor and optimise workflows for performance and cost efficiency
Skills & Experience
  • Strong background in data modelling and transformation
  • Hands-on experience with dbt and Google BigQuery (or similar cloud data platforms)
  • Experience migrating dashboards and reports across BI platforms
  • Solid understanding of data governance and quality principles
  • Proven ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders
