Personal Care Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Personal Care Worker in the Tweed Region and Gold Coast South.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of seniors and their loved ones. As a Personal Care Worker, you will have the chance to:

  • Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare meals and snacks according to client preferences.
  • Accompany clients on outings and engage in social activities.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong desire to help others, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged, Disability or equivalent qualification.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • A National Police Check and NDIS clearance.
  • A valid driver's license and comprehensive insurance.

Salary: $38.26 – $68.87 per hour

Schedule:

  • Afternoon shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Overtime
  • Public holidays
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Penalty rates

Experience:

  • Personal Care: 1 year (Required)
