Job Title: Field Service Engineer

At Hamilton, a global leader in precision fluid measuring devices, we seek a skilled Field Service Engineer to support and maintain robotic instrumentation in Australia/New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Install new equipment at customer sites ensuring timely arrivals and adherence to traffic laws.
  2. Perform regular maintenance and troubleshoot issues with Hamilton equipment.
  3. Conduct root cause analysis on instrument failures and report findings.
  4. Travel within the region visiting customer sites regularly.
  5. Undertake other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to quality and safety.
  • Experience working in the field and corporate settings.
  • Ability to train non-technical staff on technical topics.
  • Willingness to work safely around hazardous substances.
  • Capacity to learn new robotic operating systems.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a motor vehicle history check.
  • Reliable personal transportation with valid registration and insurance.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent plus two years of technical experience in electronics, electrical, mechanical, or computer systems troubleshooting.
  • Technical field service experience, particularly in life sciences or similar fields, is preferred.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move approximately 60 lbs.
