Terra Verde is a joint venture between Webuild, GS Engineering & Construction (E&C) Australia, and Bouygues Construction Australia.

The joint venture combines experienced local personnel with global resources and expertise.

Terra Verde is delivering nearly 10 kilometres of parallel tunnels between Glen Waverley and Box Hill, including 39 cross passages and two station boxes at Glen Waverley and Burwood in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, as part of the Suburban Rail Loop Project.

This is the largest infrastructure project in Victoria's history, shaping Melbourne and Victoria for future generations.

About the Role:

We're looking for a proactive professional to lead the implementation and oversight of Injury Management, Wellbeing and Return to Work programs. In this role, you'll also play a key part in shaping and delivering health and wellbeing initiatives that support our people across the Project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Project's Injury Management and Wellbeing strategy in line with broader safety goals
• Champion proactive approaches to psychosocial safety and employee wellbeing
• Provide expert advice to support employee health and recovery at work
• Drive early intervention, Return to Work programs, and wellbeing initiatives
• Offer practical guidance on injury management policies and procedures
• Educate leaders on their roles in rehabilitation and return to work
• Promote a culture of care, safety, and positive employee experience
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and injury management legislation
• Identify and implement workplace improvements and best practices
• Support safety education and compliance programs across the Project
• Maintain accurate injury and health monitoring records
• Build strong relationships across all levels of the workforce
• Uphold Terra Verde JV's standards for conduct, compliance, and care

What We're Looking For:

• Strong knowledge of Injury Management, Health & Wellbeing, and Safety Management Systems
• Experience in risk assessment and control monitoring in project environments
• Solid understanding of relevant legislation, especially the WIRC Act 2013
• Ability to contribute to complex incident investigations with multiple stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience:

• Formal qualifications in Rehabilitation and Return to Work are mandatory
• Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field is desirable

Skills and Attributes:

• Strong communication skills to engage with workers, supervisors, and medical providers
• Practical experience managing physical and psychosocial risks on-site
• Ability to lead early intervention and wellbeing initiatives
• Confident in supporting incident investigations and reporting
• Organised, detail-focused, and proactive in driving safety outcomes
• Approachable, with a strong focus on care, recovery, and compliance
