About the Role

The Food & Beverage Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive top-notch service and have a memorable experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere at the bar, in the restaurant, room service, conferencing and/or events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and seat guests; assist with seating arrangements and provide menus.
  • Take orders; describe menu items, answer questions, note special requests and dietary restrictions.
  • Serve food and beverages; ensure presentation and timeliness.
  • Check on guests to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation; clear tables, reset and restock as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen team; communicate orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Handle payments; present bills and process payments accurately.
  • Upsell and promote additional menu items and beverages.
  • Handle guest requests and accommodate needs to the best of your ability.
  • Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails (training provided).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
