Overview

Director Right to Information and Privacy role at Queensland Government.

We're seeking a strategic and experienced leader to head the Right to Information and Information Privacy Unit. This role ensures QBCC's compliance with the Right to Information Act 2009 and the Information Privacy Act 2009, while fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and privacy awareness across the organisation. As Director, you'll lead a high-performing team, deliver exceptional customer service and provide expert advice to senior leadership and staff on RTI and Privacy matters. Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to influence and educate across all levels of the QBCC are essential.

The QBCC is relocating at the end of 2025 from West End to Ann Street, Brisbane CBD.
