Flinders Christian Community College invites applications for the position of Secondary Science Teacher within the Joshua Centre (Autistic Education) at the Tyabb Campus. Commencing Term 1, 2026. The role is Full-Time/Part-Time, ongoing with potential flexibility in allocated FTE. The Joshua Centre opened in 2022 and supports students on the autism spectrum with a differentiated program and environment.
Responsibilities- Deliver Science classes to Years 7–9 within the Joshua Centre.
- Work in a highly supportive environment with a dedicated full-time aide; maintain small class sizes (up to 12 students).
- Adapt teaching to meet sensory and learning needs of autistic students; contribute to personalised learning plans.
- Experience in autistic education or closely related field.
- Strong commitment to Christian education and student wellbeing.
- Flexible approach to work arrangements; openness to job sharing.
