Overview

Corymbia State School is seeking a dedicated and proactive Workplace Safety and Injury Management Advisor to join our foundational team. As a new school opening in 2026, this role is vital in establishing and maintaining robust health, safety, and injury management systems from the ground up.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain connection to the Health and Safety Advisor/Representatives by playing an active role in Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HS&W).
  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits and contribute to the implementation of identified corrective actions.
  • Provide operational guidance and advice regarding HS&W, including injury management, to improve HS&W performance.
  • Monitor and report on incidents from MyHR Workplace Health & Safety to identify new or emerging issues, risks or trends and recommend strategies for improvement and corrective actions.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience in health, safety and wellbeing (HS&W) and injury management.
  • Ability to contribute to the development and implementation of safety programs in a school setting.
