  Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable insights? Known internally as a Data Systems Analyst, you'll contribute to the design and delivery of data solutions within our Corporate Platforms team that supports Suncorp's strategic direction. You'll work closely with stakeholders across Technology & Operations to ensure our data systems are fit-for-purpose, integrated, and aligned with business needs.

  What You'll Do
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications and data models
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Solution Architects, and Testers to ensure solutions meet business goals
  • Support the design and delivery of data pipelines, integrations, and system enhancements
  • Create process maps, data flow diagrams, and system documentation to support delivery
  • Perform gap analysis and impact assessments on system and data changes
  • Contribute to testing activities by defining acceptance criteria and supporting defect triage
  • Liaise between business teams and technical delivery teams to ensure shared understanding
  • Maintain alignment with Agile delivery practices, including backlog refinement and sprint planning
  • Monitor solution implementation to ensure requirements are met and quality standards upheld
    
    
  What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience translating complex business needs into technical solutions
  • Strong understanding of data systems, data structures, and integration patterns
  • Skilled in using analysis tools and techniques such as process mapping, data modelling, and SQL queries
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments
  • A collaborative mindset, able to work across multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to change
  • Attention to detail in documentation and solution design
  • Proactive approach to identifying risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities
