We are seeking a highly-skilled and energetic Salesforce Solution Architect to join a dynamic federal government agency committed to delivering innovative, fit-for-need ICT solutions. You'll be part of a passionate, multidisciplinary team helping transform the way services are delivered to Australians with disability.

This is a great opportunity to work on a high-impact program that drives significant digital transformation and service delivery improvement at a national level.

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Define and review Salesforce technical requirements and recommend solutions aligned with enterprise architecture.

  • Participate in design and architecture governance forums and present proposed solutions for endorsement.

  • Ensure alignment of application development with Salesforce best practices and the agency's product roadmap.

  • Collaborate closely with Business Architects, Product Owners, Consultants, Developers and Testers to refine and manage the Salesforce product backlog.

  • Approve configuration and custom code for deployment across environments.

  • Support technical teams with design guidance, solution prototyping, documentation, and quality assurance.

  • Provide expertise and mentoring to functional and development teams on Salesforce story development and acceptance criteria.

  • Take part in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and reviews.

To be considered in this role you must:

  • 3-5+ years' experience in a lead role delivering complex Salesforce projects.

  • Strong deployment and configuration knowledge of Salesforce and Vlocity (OmniStudio).

  • Deep architectural understanding across various Salesforce clouds and industry solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to create hands-on prototypes and proofs of concept for early stakeholder feedback.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with a proven ability to articulate solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

    • Experience with Vlocity insurance industry solutions (hands-on and design exposure).

    • Salesforce and Vlocity certified, with preference for Salesforce Solution Architect Certification.

    • Proactive, enthusiastic and adaptive team player with a can-do attitude.

    • An interest in or experience with accessible design and development practices
