Overview

Storeperson - High Reach Forklift Operator

Location: Derrimut

Pay Rate: $34 per hour + super

Employment Type: Casual, ongoing

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Storeperson - High Reach Forklift Operator to join their warehouse team based in Derrimut. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator looking for stable, ongoing work in a well-established company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate high-reach forklifts (approximately 75% of the role)
  • Pick and put away stock using RF scanners
  • Perform manual handling tasks (up to 20kg)
  • Navigate racking systems up to 6 bays high
  • Work safely around automated guided vehicles (AGVs)
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organisation
  • Report all safety incidents and hazards promptly
Requirements
  • Current LF licence with high-reach forklift experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Comfortable with manual handling and pallet picking (pallets may be stacked up to 100kg)
  • Ability to work independently and follow warehouse procedures
  • No KPIs or speed targets - focus is on safety and accuracy
