We're seeking an experienced and commercially astute Senior Centre Manager to lead Cairns Central - the premier retail, fashion, and entertainment destination in the region. Located in the Cairns CBD, Cairns Central is a 52,000sqm other-regional shopping centre servicing both a significant total trade area and a strong tourism market.

The centre comprises over 170 retailers, anchored by Myer, Coles, Kmart, Woolworths, Event Cinemas, and Target. Cairns Central is nationally ranked as a top 10 BIG GUN centre on a MAT/sqm and Specialty MAT/sqm basis. FY26 and beyond will see the centre continue to grow through its retail mix.

As the Senior Centre Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the strategic, operational, and financial success of Cairns Central. You'll lead a high-performing team across administration, marketing, operations, and leasing to deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers, retailers, and stakeholders.

This is more than a management role - it's a leadership opportunity to shape the future of a vibrant retail hub that sits at the heart of the Cairns community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the annual business and asset plans aligned with owner objectives.
    • Team Empowerment: Lead and inspire a team of 7, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
      • Financial Performance: Drive income growth, optimise expenditure, and deliver on NOI targets.
        • Retailer & Community Engagement: Be the face of the centre, building strong relationships with retailers, local stakeholders, and community groups.
          • Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of centre operations, compliance, and risk management to ensure a safe, seamless, and premium experience.
            • Marketing & Leasing Support: Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the centre's brand, customer experience, and tenancy mix.
