Job Title: Home Care Worker

We are one of the largest home care providers in the world, with over 700 offices in eight countries. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of those we serve by providing a high level of service to people living independently in their homes.

Our North Queensland office is under new management and requires additional staff to meet the growing demand for our services in the region.

Role Overview

We seek experienced caregivers who are enthusiastic about providing a caring, compassionate, respectful, and high-quality service. Clients and caregivers are matched based on skill level, personality traits, and preferences to support long-term relationships.

As a Home Care Worker, you will assist clients with:

  • Personal care;
  • Domestic assistance;
  • Transportation;
  • Medication reminders;
  • Other activities of daily living.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming;
  • Provide domestic assistance, such as light housekeeping and meal preparation;
  • Transport clients to appointments and outings;
  • Remind clients to take medication as prescribed;
  • Assist with other activities of daily living, such as toileting and mobility.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Community or Disability Services;
  • Satisfactory Australian National Police check;
  • Current or willing to obtain a first aid and CPR certificate;
  • Smart mobile phone;
  • Driver's licence and own reliable presentable car.
Preferred Skills
  • Ability to provide personal and domestic care;
  • Passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people in a community setting;
  • Excellent written and verbal skills;
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills;
  • Willingness to participate in further education opportunities.
