Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as an accomplished Emergency Veterinarian.
  • Possession of current registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Western Australia, or the ability to register.
  • Ability to complete shifts over a 24/7 roster.
  • Contribution to our excellent team culture including a positive attitude and being a team player.
Education and professional development

  • Workshops and wet labs in soft tissue surgery, drain and tube placements, mechanical ventilation, POCUS ultrasound, and more.
  • Quarterly critical case reviews and study groups to support ongoing learning.
  • Membership goals supported with study groups and practice exam sessions.
  • Stress Free Pets certification and RECOVER CPR certification where applicable.
  • Free monthly ECC webinars and access to VetWebinar library.
  • Short courses and modular programs with VetEducation.
  • Open to special interests and ideas to support best patient care.
Relocation

Our hospital is located in Midland, a short drive from Perth city centre. Midland is close to the Perth Hills and Swan Valley wine region. Perth offers a high quality of life with diverse cuisine, culture, and access to beaches and nature.
