We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Veterinary Manager to lead our veterinary team in providing exceptional patient care. As an integral member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for promoting a positive work environment, supporting staff development, and driving clinical excellence.
This role includes managing daily operations, leading by example, and fostering a culture of trust, respect, and kindness. You will ensure that our veterinarians can focus on delivering high-quality patient care while you handle administrative tasks.

- Developing and implementing career plans for team members.
- Maintaining a deep understanding of workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Driving hospital performance and sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborating with senior leaders to review and forecast budgets and strategies.
- Making balanced decisions that consider both clinical and commercial outcomes.
- Ensuring excellent customer service and communication with clients, vets, and team members.
- Providing adequate resources and support for teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Liaising with other veterinary managers to align efforts and maximize efficiency.
- Managing projects within the hospital to drive success.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor degree accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards Council (AVBC).
- At least 3 years of experience as a clinical veterinarian with expertise in emergency care.
- Leadership experience or a willingness to participate in our leadership development program.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary services and their delivery.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to negotiate effectively and communicate openly with all stakeholders.
- A strong work ethic, professional demeanor, and friendly attitude.
- Ability to deliver exceptional client and patient experiences.
- Effective project management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
