MI Clinical Applications Specialist ANZ at GE HealthCare provides formal technical and clinical support during the sales process within Australia & New Zealand. Responsibilities include training and/or customer service activities, pre-sale product demonstrations/educational sessions (or clinical trial support), post-installation applications training and support, and ongoing post-sale customer support including on-site clinical in-servicing and go-live support.
Key duties- Providing expertise from product demonstrations, to implementation and ongoing support.
- Developing, coordinating and delivering product training to customers and building solid customer relationships.
- Becoming a recognized expert in product/clinical technical competencies; answering a wide range of questions concerning software and clinical applications.
- Producing well-written post-training reports and providing regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs.
- Using market and product knowledge to assist the sales team in developing sales, marketing and customer service strategies.
- Improving customer satisfaction and install base retention through continuing education on optimization of equipment utilization by customers.
- Supporting trade shows and professional conferences with educational training.
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Nuclear Medicine
- EPA licenses S14, IA 27, IA16 or IA16D or equivalent
- Current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated skills in clinical PET/Hybrid CT scanning on current products/platforms
- A clear thinker with the ability to interpret and translate complex technical data and systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Exceptional communication and well-developed interpersonal skills to build relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate on the bigger picture
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel extensively within the defined region and to nationwide sales meetings and tradeshows
- Strong presentation skills (public speaking and lecture experience desired)
- Ability to understand and present complex material in understandable terms
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills (ability to communicate effectively with external customers, global counterparts and team members)
- Strong problem-solving skills (ability to manage and resolve conflicts, communicate issues and propose solutions)
- Proven business acumen (experience interfacing with internal and external stakeholders as part of a solution-based sales process)
- Self-motivated with initiative to identify opportunities for improvement
- Team-oriented with a customer satisfaction mindset
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
- Flexibility/adaptability to changing work environments
- Clinical experience in large hospital/university settings preferred
- Three or more years of demonstrated clinical scanning skills in the specific modality
- Current GE product experience desired
