Mechanical Engineer (Intermediate Level)

Location: Perth

Indicative assignment length: 12-months casual contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver design engineering for mechanical systems within minerals processing plants, including conveyors, pumps, and other processing equipment
  • Develop detailed design calculations, specifications, and drawings to ensure optimal system performance
  • Conduct feasibility studies and provide engineering solutions to meet project requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-engineering teams to develop integrated designs that support efficient plant operations
  • Occasional ad-hoc site visits

What you'll need to succeed

  • 4-7 years' experience in design engineering, particularly in gold projects
  • MUST have previous EPCM / engineering consultancy experience
  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • Strong background in mechanical system design, with a focus on mineral processing equipment
  • ONLY candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered. (Australian Citizen, PR holder, or Valid Australian working VISA with no restrictions)
