Responsibilities
  • Teach effective Swimming and Water Safety to help grow our swim program.
  • Deliver high levels of customer service and communicate effectively with students of diverse ages, abilities, cultures and needs.
  • Work mornings, evenings and weekends as required and be empathetic to the needs of the classes.
  • Promote aquatic and leisure activities to the community.
Qualifications
  • Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2)
  • Current CPR
  • Current Working with Children Check (or equivalent)
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current Licensed Swim Teacher
  • If you do not currently hold these qualifications you must be willing to acquire them
Skills & Attributes
  • Energetic, innovative and decisive teaching style
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of OHS and public safety in the facility
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends and be empathetic to the needs of the classes
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of the team
  • Passion for water safety
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of guests
