We currently have an opportunity for a talented Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals as a Rehabilitation Consultant.

How you'll be making an impact in people's lives:

  • Undertaking assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
  • Designing and implementing intervention programmes using occupation to improve functional performance, independence and work capacity.
  • Identifying barriers and designing, implementing and monitoring programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation.
  • Understanding a variety of healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empowering your clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
  • Liaising with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Australian recognised degree qualification in Social Work (AASW).
  • Willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways.
  • The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
  • A commitment to a high level of customer service to your clients and customers.
  • Willingness to work in the community (must have driver's license and access to own vehicle).
  • Current or able to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
