Overview

An opportunity exists for a multi-drop delivery driver at Classic Meats, Townsville branch.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, this position requires the accurate delivery of orders on a multi drop basis, to a wide range of customers, whilst maintaining product integrity. This is not a pallet on pallet off operation, and we seek a motivated person who is self-driven and looking to work in a fast-paced friendly environment and can work with minimal supervision. This is a physical role with some heavy lifting. Training in our in-house systems will be provided.

Responsibilities
  • Delivery of multi drop orders
  • Safely adhere to time constraints, maintain product integrity and customer service
Skills and Experience
  • Current Full Manual Drivers Licence (our small refrigerated trucks are driven using a car licence)
  • Current QLD Police Clearance Check
  • Forklift Licence (Not essential, but would be highly regarded)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment
  • Physically fit and motivated with the ability to work within a team environment
  • Previous delivery experience desirable & you must be willing to help out in other areas when required
