The Role

We are partnering with an ASX-listed technology organisation working on a nationally significant software platform . The team is seeking a Full Stack JavaScript Engineers to join a delivery-focused environment led by senior engineers with a strong technical culture.

You'll contribute to building and maintaining a highly scalable, secure system solving complex engineering challenges. The team is ready to onboard immediately and is looking for people who can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a secure, scalable national security platform
  • Contribute to both frontend and backend development using Node.js, React, TypeScript, and Express.js
  • Work closely with senior engineers to design, build, test, and optimise software solutions
  • Participate in peer reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • In the hybrid role, lead API-focused test automation using tools like Playwright
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team in a fast-moving, delivery-driven environment

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Solid experience across Node.js, Express.js, React, and TypeScript
  • Proven background in full stack web application development
  • Experience with modern web frameworks, software design patterns, and REST APIs
  • Strong understanding of clean code, TDD, and CI/CD practices
  • For hybrid dev/test role: experience in API test automation and a developer mindset
  • Experience with SharePoint or pnp.js
  • Familiarity with Azure services or other cloud platforms
  • Experience with Playwright or similar testing frameworks
  • AGSVA clearance (not essential but highly regarded)
