Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

  • Assisting in the management of files in a leading WA workers' compensation practice
  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Assisting in the preparation of advice to clients and developing opinion and pleading writing skills
  • Preparing court documents for litigated matters
  • Attending directions hearings and chamber summons with early exposure to advocacy
  • Assisting with preparing matters for trial
  • Liaising with clients, including assisting in obtaining instructions and at conferences
About You

The company is looking for:

  • Completion of a law degree, with postgraduate studies and PLT in progress or completed, or admission as a lawyer
  • Motivation, enthusiasm, and passion for a career in law
  • Strong academic results and critical thinking skills
  • Attention to detail, practical problem-solving, and strategic thinking
  • Enthusiasm for learning and ability to multitask efficiently
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work paperless while maintaining electronic records
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to exceptional client service and ability to work independently and collaboratively
