Law Graduate/Junior Lawyer

Here's what you will be doing:
- Assisting in the management of files in a leading WA workers' compensation practice
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Assisting in the preparation of advice to clients and developing opinion and pleading writing skills
- Preparing court documents for litigated matters
- Attending directions hearings and chamber summons with early exposure to advocacy
- Assisting with preparing matters for trial
- Liaising with clients, including assisting in obtaining instructions and at conferences
The company is looking for:
- Completion of a law degree, with postgraduate studies and PLT in progress or completed, or admission as a lawyer
- Motivation, enthusiasm, and passion for a career in law
- Strong academic results and critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail, practical problem-solving, and strategic thinking
- Enthusiasm for learning and ability to multitask efficiently
- Ability to meet deadlines and work paperless while maintaining electronic records
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to exceptional client service and ability to work independently and collaboratively
