This position is for someone who is looking to build a long term career in criminal law.
The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic junior lawyer to join our team.
You should be highly organised and able to work both independently and as a part of a small team when required.
Key responsibilities- Attending daily court appearances
- Supporting the senior lawyer
- Preparing and drafting court documents
- Dealing with clients
- Assisting in the day to day running of a small boutique criminal law practice
- You must be admitted as a solicitor
- Be a confident speaker or willing to build your court room confidence
- Excellent work ethic and have the attitude of "no job is too small"
- Strong legal research and analytical abilities
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Be willing to take direction and constructive feedback
- Have a car & valid drivers license & right to work in Australia
