Overview

Enrolled Nurse - Arcare Civic Manor — Casual role with a variety of shifts (6-8 hours).

  • Salary Range: Minimum $36.52 - $39.79 per hour Vic
  • AHPRA registration and Diploma in Enrolled Nurse
  • Must have strong availability and be flexible to work on call across the week, including Monday to Sunday as required

About The Role

Your responsibilities involve providing essential nursing care and support to residents in accordance with Arcare's Values. You will play a crucial role under the supervision of an RN to provide positive resident outcomes.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
  • Personal Care: Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
  • Medication Administration: Administering medications as prescribed by the physician and ensuring proper documentation of medication records.
  • Health Monitoring: Observing and recording residents' vital signs, symptoms, and any changes in their health condition.
  • Wound Care: Providing basic wound care and dressing changes for residents with minor wounds.
  • Assessment and Reporting: Conducting health assessments and reporting any changes in residents' health to the supervising RN or healthcare team and on eCase.
Skills & Experience
  • Current AHPRA Registration.
  • Knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards
  • Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn.
  • Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
  • Friendly and effective communication abilities.
