Overview

BUEL Ticketed Charge Up Operator - Underground role at Illawarra Mercury. HMR is a national contractor providing underground and surface drilling, mining and raiseboring services to clients across Australia. We are seeking suitably experienced and licensed BUEL Ticketed Charge Up Operators to join our team for available work in the Central West NSW region. This role is full-time for a minimum of 6 months with opportunity for placement with the client.

Responsibilities
  • Safely and efficiently perform development and production charging operations
  • Safe transport and handling of explosives
  • Safe management explosives magazines
  • Accurately conduct and complete all explosive stock management records
  • Conduct pre-start inspections and safety checks
  • Perform basic daily maintenance on machine to maintain uptime
  • Contribute to housekeeping, safety and productivity improvements
Essentials / Qualifications
  • Motivated self-starter who can work independently
  • Current BUEL ticket
  • NSW Site Security ticket
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar Underground role
  • Current Manual Driver's License
  • Australian or NZ residents - Full working rights in Australia
