About The Role

In this position you will work in a team that is responsible for the efficient operation of the stores section of the Supply Department.

  • You will receive, stores and distribute medical and general stores throughout the hospital.
  • You will be required to unload vehicles, unpack cartons, check stock and pick, pack and deliver as directed to various departments in the hospital, with a high degree of accuracy.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for a number of key departments/wards in regard to ensuring adequate stock is available and maintained.
  • This is a hands on, demanding & responsible position.
  • Working hours are usually Monday-Friday; flexibility of start & finish times is important.
Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain stores operations in the hospital
  • Accurately receive, store, and distribute stock to departments
  • Unload vehicles, unpack, check, and deliver stock as directed
  • Maintain stock levels across assigned departments
  • Operate within a team and independently as required
Essential Criteria
  • Experience working in a warehouse/stores including using computerised stock control system
  • Proven accuracy in a busy stores environment
  • Positive, responsible attitude with the ability to work in a team or independently
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Proven ability to liaise, negotiate and problem solve with various stakeholders
Desirable Criteria
  • Previous experience in a medical/hospital environment
  • Forklift qualification
  • Qualification in Purchasing or SAP
Remuneration

Base hourly rate ranging from $30.00 + 25% casual loading + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Hollywood Private Hospital is a modern, acute care hospital in Nedlands with a strong reputation for patient care. It has more than 900 licensed beds and is the State's largest private hospital by bed numbers. The hospital is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics.

Requirements
  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases as applicable
