Purchasing Officer

OSS Maritime Group is an Australia-based, multinational leading provider of logistics & marine services with an excellent trading record of over 30 years.
Due to our recent expansion, we are seeking an additional staff member to support our increased workload. We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and experienced candidate to joint our Purchasing team at Brisbane branch. We value employee ideas and we encourage creativity in getting things done.
Responsibilities- Serve as an important member of the purchasing/management team;
- Cut down cost from procurement perspective;
- Update pricing system/strategy on national and Global scale;
- Lead/manage warehouse logistic and stock;
- Utilize and upgrade existing purchasing channels; &
- Report directly to General Manager.
- Minimum 1 year experience in an office environment, preferably in a position relevant to purchasing;
- Excellent written and spoken skills in English; &
- Intermediate in Microsoft Office Suite.
