Our Banking and Financial Services Treasury Regulatory Reporting team in Sydney is responsible for producing periodic balance sheet and statistical regulatory returns for APRA, RBA, and ABS. Working within our team, you'll be part of a high-performing group that collaborates closely with key business stakeholders, other treasury and finance control teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

What role will you play?

As a Manager, you will prepare and review balance sheet and statistical reports for external regulators, maintain updated documentation to support annual regulatory audits, and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation. Your role will involve engaging with internal stakeholders, analysing data to drive decision-making, and participating in process improvements to ensure adherence to control standards and regulatory compliance.

What you offer

  • Previous experience in financial services or investment banking, with knowledge of regulatory reporting, data, accounting, and regulatory reporting systems and processes
  • Technical accounting and regulatory knowledge, including AASs and APRA reporting standards
  • Proficiency in systems such as Fusion ledger and Axiom, and excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience engaging and managing stakeholder relationships through written and verbal communication
  • Tertiary degree in Business or Commerce
  • Professional accounting qualification such as CA or CPA is desirable.
