Overview

Fulltime and casual positions available for morning shifts (2:00am-9:36am) at Bidfood Cairns, Woree warehouse. Immediate start. Roles involve picking and packing orders for cafes, restaurants and institutions.

Bidfood is Australia's leading foodservice distributor, and this role keeps deliveries on time by picking and packing in freezer, chiller and dry areas.

Responsibilities
  • Picking and assembling orders to specification
  • Working in the freezer
  • Keeping your area clean, organised and safe
  • Helping your team meet daily targets
  • Supporting the warehouse team when needed
About you
  • You're physically fit, switched on and ready to get stuck in
  • You don't mind the cold, you show up on time and you get the job done properly
  • You take pride in being part of a team that keeps things moving
  • You might have experience in a warehouse, kitchen or similar fast-paced environment, but the most important thing is your attitude
  • If you're reliable, willing to learn and ready to work, we'll show you the rest
Skills and experience
  • Solid work ethic, practical mindset and ability to handle physical tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
  • Good time management and attention to detail
  • Able to follow instructions and meet daily targets
  • Comfortable working in cold environments (down to -25°C)
  • Previous warehouse or picking experience is a bonus, but not required
