Position: Warehouse Picker and Packer Location: Cairns, Queensland Hours: 7 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday

About Us:

The Distributors Cairns and Townsville specialise in supplying and distributing bulk wholesale confectionery, groceries, snack foods, and beverages to customers in Cairns and Far North Queensland. Due to the expansion of our Cairns warehouse, we are seeking motivated individuals to join our team and help deliver top-quality products to our valued customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pick and package orders in a timely manner.
  • Replenish and rotate stock to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Receive and process stock deliveries.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for receiving and dispatching orders.
  • Count stock accurately and maintain attention to detail.
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

About You:

  • Must have own transport and a valid driver's licence (preferably an open QLD licence).
  • Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is preferred but not essential.
  • A forklift ticket is desirable.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20kg.
  • Comfortable working on your feet throughout the day in a hands-on, active role.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage tasks independently while contributing to a team environment.
