The Role
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong solution-selling mindset to drive significant new business growth. This is a critical role focused on identifying, qualifying and securing new logos, understanding their challenges and positioning our services and solutions as the strategic solution. You will be a proactive hunter, an expert in building new relationships and adept at collaborating to close high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Solution-Based Sales to Win New Business: Identify, qualify, and close new sales opportunities within target markets. This includes proactive outreach, networking, and effective presentation and negotiation skills
- Collaborate with Oracle Sales Representatives: Work closely with Oracle sales teams to identify and pursue joint sales opportunities. This includes understanding Oracle's offerings, aligning strategies, and effectively positioning our services within Oracle-led deals
- Cultivate and Manage Key Partner Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key strategic partners. This involves regular communication, collaborative planning, and identifying joint business opportunities
- Champion the Value of Our Services through Consultative Selling: Engage with clients in a consultative manner to understand their challenges and recommend the most appropriate services to achieve their desired outcomes. Effectively articulate the business benefits and ROI of our solutions.
- Lead the development of compelling proposals and presentations: Clearly articulate our solution and its value proposition
- Pipeline Forecasting: Accurately Forecast Sales opportunities and manage the sales pipeline within our CRM system
- Business Development: Be involved in identifying new business opportunities and developing proposals for potential clients
- Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., delivery, technical) to ensure seamless solution delivery and client satisfaction
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience: 5+ Years experience in Sales leadership and solutions-oriented role
- Proven Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets, especially in a solutions-oriented or complex sales environment
- Sales Planning & Strategy: Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies, set realistic goals and quotas, and forecast sales trends
- Market & Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the company's products/services, their features, benefits, and how they address various customer challenges. This also includes staying current with industry trends and competitor offerings
- Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to close deals and secure favorable terms for the company
- Data Analysis: Proficient in using sales data and metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions
- Budgeting: Understanding and managing sales budgets effectively, allocating resources efficiently to maximize ROI
- Customer Focus: A deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and preferences. Always considering the customer's perspective in decision-making
