About usTo date, Amplar Health Home Hospital has successfully delivered care to over 210,000 patients nationally. Through this achievement, we have showcased remarkable levels of patient experience, notable decreases in emergency department visits & significant cost savings for funders.
For the first time in South Australia, a city hotel is proving a location for public hospital patients who no longer require acute care, to rest and recover in comfort at no cost – while freeing up beds for people who need them.
This innovative model of care sees patients relocated from metropolitan and peri-urban hospital beds to the Pullman Adelaide, in their own rooms within the hotel.
Your opportunity
Are you looking to make a real difference in patient outcomes in an alternate environment, that utilises innovative technology, is focused on restoring health, and part of a supportive high performing team?
Joining a team at the forefront of care innovation, and delivering care in a cutting-edge transformative setting; you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care, in addition to:
- Monitor patients progress and report changes to a broader multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to care planning and patient assessments
- Support activities of daily living and administer medications
About you
You will be available to work a full time or part time (0.6 FTE as a minimum) fixed term contract, on a 7-day rotating rostering across morning, afternoon and night shift, passionate about patient centred care and excited to be a part of this innovative model of care, in addition to:
- Having at least one years' experience as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse
- Experience in wound care management
- Hold current First Aid and CPRcertificates
- High attention to detail with a patient focused approach
- Hold a South Australian Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or are willing and eligible to obtain).
- If successful, willing and able to provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations.
Nurses with agency experience in acute care and / or aged care are encouraged to apply.
