Omega Health Medical Centre, located in the lush surroundings of Cairns, is seeking International Medical Graduates to join its dedicated team. The centre has proudly cared for its diverse patient base since 2011, providing high-quality community medicine.

You'll work in a DPA-approved practice alongside experienced doctors and supervisors, skilled nurses, and a supportive administration that will manage your practice and support your transition to the Australian healthcare system.

Our International Business Development team will guide you through every stage of relocation, from visa assistance to settling into the community.

  • Experienced collegial team – Practise alongside 11 doctors with special interests including skin cancer, family medicine, and Indigenous health
  • Training practice – dedicated and passionate GP Supervisors who regularly mentor GP Registrars and IMGs

Relocation Support

This opportunity is in a DPA-approved location, making it ideal for International Medical Graduates (IMGs) subject to a moratorium. From your first Zoom chat, we'll guide you through every step, assisting with medical registration, visa applications, and providing tailored relocation packages. Our support goes beyond settling in; we'll help you establish your practice through personalised marketing, comprehensive orientation, and ongoing assistance to ensure you thrive both professionally and personally in Australia. Additionally, we'll arrange a GP supervisor and provide an orientation handbook to help you confidently navigate the Australian healthcare system.
