Team Leader - Civil Maintenance
Liverpool City Council is experiencing growth. This team leader position provides a high level of service for the community in the construction and maintenance of major infrastructure. You will supervise and work with a team of two to six members carrying out day-to-day operations as directed by the Coordinator of Maintenance Delivery.
Job DetailsPermanent Full Time, 36 hours, 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday). Salary: $79,919.75 - $87,567.89 plus 12% Super.
Responsibilities- Supervise and work in teams of two to six members on day-to-day operations as directed by the Coordinator of Maintenance Delivery.
- Carry out concreting, asphalt and/or drainage works, and general civil maintenance of footpaths, roads, and reserves.
- Operate and maintain civil construction plant/equipment as required; desirable experience with excavator, loader, and skid steer.
- Experience in the construction and maintenance of footpaths, kerb and gutters, concrete slab construction and drainage infrastructure.
- Ability to assess safety situations and take appropriate action.
- Minimum HR license essential with experience in operating and maintaining plant/equipment used in civil construction; blue light/blue ticket (traffic controller) required.

The salary will be dependent on relevant skills, experience, and competencies of the successful applicant. All successful candidates will be required to obtain a National Police Check and may be required to undergo a pre-employment medical check.
