Your Role

We are seeking a Senior Designer with a strong passion for design. In this position, you will collaborate with our Design Directors and design leadership on a variety of exciting workplace projects. What You Will Do

1. Collaborate on commercial interiors projects, including programming client needs, concept design, schematic design, design development, and manage budget/schedule reviews
2. Develop space planning concepts and generate program documents
3. Participate in selection of furniture systems and specifications
4. Provide project team coordination for the finished plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction
5. Utilize technical knowledge and delivery experience for effective documentation and detailing
6. Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
7. Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples
8. Manage client expectations, and coordinate team and consultant communications

Your Qualifications

Required

1. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
2. 10+ years of related experience as an interior designer, with a focus on commercial interiors
3. Must be highly proficient in Revit
4. Strong knowledge of the design process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materials
5. Outstanding graphic presentation skills
6. Willingness to focus on a single client with a variety of project types or multiple projects in various stages of development
7. Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly
8. Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills
9. Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp required, 3-D Studio Max preferred.
10. NCIDQ preferred but not required; working toward licensure is supported and encouraged

Your Design Technology Qualifications

Essential:

1. Deep knowledge and experience in Autodesk Revit for design authoring, documentation, data extracts and project delivery.
2. Experience in collaboration within the BIM context, including cloud-based markups, consultant coordination and clash detection.
3. Deep understanding of Real-Time Visualization development within the context of BIM, specifically in the use of Escape/ other rendering mediums.
4. Experience in creating FF&E schemes and developing them through detailed technical specification

Desirable:

1. Working knowledge in the use of VR walkthroughs and panoramas for client presentations, consultant coordination and internal design reviews
