About the Role

We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team and support the successful delivery of projects across Southeast Queensland. This is a client-side consulting role where you will gain exposure on all project phases and build the foundation for a long-term project management career.

You will work under the guidance of experienced Project Managers while engaging directly with clients, consultants, and contractors. The role offers variety, challenge, and real-world learning in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, procurement, and delivery of construction and infrastructure projects
  • Assist in managing consultant teams and coordinating key project documentation
  • Monitor timelines, cost reports, and deliverables across project stages
  • Attend project meetings and record minutes, decisions, and actions
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and stakeholder communications
  • Contribute to quality assurance, risk tracking, and compliance requirements
  • Assist with contract administration and variation tracking

What We're Looking For

  • Ideally past experience in project support, site supervision/engineering, construction project design or a similar role
  • Degree-qualified (or near completion) in Construction Managment, Engineering, Architecture or similar
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, diligence and an eagerness to learn
  • Previous exposure to client-side consultancy, project management, or project administration is a bonus
  • Proficient in MS Office and ideally project management tools like MS Project, P6, Procore or Aconex

The role is based in Brisbane, with occasional travel to client sites across SEQ.
