The role of the Copywriter is focused on assisting the development and execution of all content and copywriting within the Mimco marketing team to support the strategic and commercial goals of the business.

Based out of our Melbourne support office with a mix of hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) join a vibrant team passionate about their brand and customer.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the creation and execution of the Mimco tone of voice style guide across all channels
  • Write copy for all Mimco marketing collateral including email, website, social media (meta and tiktok) and support with instore signage and collateral
  • Oversee all copy written for the website in regards to product copy, ensuring copy is SEO/SEM optimised
  • Write long form SEO optimised style advice articles and Q&A style collective interviews
  • Ensure tone of voice and brand consistency in all customer-facing copy
  • Edit copy prepared by third parties
  • Work closely with key stakeholders in the planning and development of regular EMD content
  • Weekly creative workflow management

Key Capabilities

  • Excellent writing skills ideally with experience in writing and editing fashion and style advice copy
  • A journalist background or fashion editor/copywriter
  • Expertise in digital content including experience in SEO and SEM
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Indesign, Monday
  • Willingness to learn, display initiative and take on new responsibilities
  • Well-developed time management and organisational skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
