Overview

Rehabilitation Consultant (Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist, Physiotherapist) role with Bendigo Advertiser. Office based in Maitland, pool cars & flexible working arrangements.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate and work closely with treatment providers (including Doctors, Specialists, and Allied Health Professionals) to ensure the best recovery outcomes for your clients.
  • Provide clinical opinions and justification through report writing.
  • Attend a variety of workplaces on a weekly basis, and learn the physical demands and responsibilities of a number of job roles to support a safe and timely return to work or maintenance at work.
  • Educate workplaces on how to manage and prevent workplace injuries.
  • Collaborate and build relationships with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.
Qualifications
  • AHPRA or ESSA registration.
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy.
  • Strong communication & report writing skills + client centred approach.
  • Office-based in Maitland, pool cars & flexible working arrangements.
