Company Controller – BT Imaging PTY (3 days per week)

The Company Controller role is an opportunity for an energetic, well-rounded individual who

is a self-starter content to be in a hands-on role in a small manufacturing company with

responsibility for the complete financial function within a subsidiary. The opportunity for the

successful candidate is to put into practice their in-depth knowledge of the fundamentals of

the financial operations of the business while further developing internal financial

management practices. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader wanting to take their

career to the next level.

The Company Controller will initially be responsible for:

• Oversight of the full-cycle accounting including accounts payable, accounts

receivable, payroll, cash management, bookkeeping, reconciliations and financial

• Lead the finance team and assist with the production team (Inventory WIP)

• Preparation and submission of all statutory reporting requirements mandated by

regulatory bodies;

• Preparation and compilation of budgets and proforma analysis, including interim

reporting on results.

• Treasury management

• Oversight of the administrative management of the office

• Reporting into the Group CFO and the local Managing Director (or other named and

appointed representative)

Over time this role may include:

• Growing the finance department as appropriate;

• Reporting directly to the BOD

• As part of the management team, definition and implementation of business policies

and operations.

Requirements

• Ability and desire to both 'do' and 'analyze'

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Experience with consolidation and financial statement preparation

• 5+ years track record of successful experience in implementing and running the

entire scope of accounting operations in a small business, reporting to executive

management

• Experience with Inventory Management

• Familiarity and experience with IFRS accounting standards (desired)

• Demonstrated experience delivering on time, accurate financial information

• Must be a certified accountant

• 5+ years of experience in product-oriented businesses with international operations,

including inventory and supplier management

Experience with obtaining and administering government R&D grants and tax credits

• 5+ years of experience with cost-centre accounting for operational management

• 3+ years in a publicly listed company or a company that was subject to external

Nice to Haves

Experience with the following technologies and systems would be a great asset:

• Cloud based project/time tracking systems

• Fluent in Mandarin and written Chinese
