Job Overview

EIL Global is seeking a dedicated Network Field Engineer to join our team. This mid-level position requires a freelance or part-time commitment. Applicants should have a professional networking experience.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Firewall Configuration (Mandatory skill) is required to ensure secure and optimal network performance across various infrastructures.
  • Experience with access point installation to support seamless and robust wireless network connectivity in diverse environments.
  • Proficiency in Cisco Networking to manage, configure, and maintain network systems efficiently and securely.
  • Competence in setting up Ethernet connection for printers to facilitate reliable and high-speed networked printing solutions.
  • Solid understanding of Routing and Switching for the design and implementation of scalable network architectures.
  • Strong Network Troubleshooting skills to efficiently diagnose and resolve issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high user satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects concurrently while being responsive to dynamic client requirements.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, teammates, and management, enhancing service delivery.

Roles And Responsibilities
  • Conduct site assessments and surveys to determine network requirements and optimize infrastructure design.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
  • Perform routine network monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network integration and operation in client environments.
  • Prepare and update network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
  • Support end-users by addressing network-related issues and providing clear communication on resolution steps.
  • Implement security protocols and measures to protect network data and mitigate potential threats.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during client consultations, ensuring alignment with their strategic objectives.
