Gordon Brothers has joined the JCI family. As we continue to innovate and grow, we are looking for a motivated Refrigeration Technician to join our Melbourne branch. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for the right person. We seek a self-motivated, reliable, flexible, creative individual who can think outside the square to keep jobs running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform planned and unplanned service & maintenance on industrial refrigeration systems
  • Complete paperwork accurately and promptly related to work performed
  • Maintain professional relationships with customers
  • Participate in all training and service meetings as required

Applicants are required to possess:

  • Qualification or experience as a Refrigeration Mechanic
  • Current valid driver's license
  • Current Restricted Electrical license

To be successful, you will ideally have:

  • Experience in industrial refrigeration
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Capability to work without supervision
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and meet deadlines
  • Ammonia experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Positive and proactive safety approach
