Contract: Ongoing, Part-Time, 64.0 hours per fortnight.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and skilled registered nurse to join BRHS Medical/Surgical team in a well-supported leadership role. The Position:

As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will support the Nurse Unit Manager to oversee our high functioning team including providing support, leadership and clinical expertise to the nursing team. You will work closely with our medical, allied and ancillary staff on each shift, to ensure the provision of exemplary care. Outside of business hours you will act for the Nurse Unit Manager.

What you need?

  • Current AHPRA registration as registered nurse
  • A minimum of three years recent clinical experience in surgical and/or medical nursing
  • Experience in team leadership and care co-ordination
  • Well-developed high-acuity nursing skills with a good understanding of and commitment to providing patient-centred care.
  • Well-developed decision-making skills with the capacity to determine the best course of action in a timely manner
