The Project

The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.

The project scope is concentrated on a 10.5km motorway, including more than 4kms of twin three lane tunnels, road and bridge construction and complex M&E installations. Open to traffic in 2031, the T2D alliance will offer the people of Adelaide an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project, career stability and the opportunity for career progression and development.

The Role

Reporting to the Quality Manager, as a quality coordinator you will support the overall quality objectives, requirements, risks and other issues that may adversely impact the surety of successful project delivery.

You will also assist with the inspection and test requirements.

Roles And Responsibilities
  • Under direction, develop and recommend inspection and sampling techniques, quality control plans, process control procedures, testing and analysis procedures to ensure that products meet specifications and standards
  • Document quality issues and performance measures for management review
  • Perform audits and surveillance of project activities, as necessary, to ensure the quality of service, product, and workmanship meets the requirements of the project and ensure all actions are closed out within a timely and efficient manner
  • Administer the relevant systems utilised for monitoring and documenting quality issues and actions
  • Validate work lot records for conformance and completeness
  • Monitor and communicate quality standards on the project
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to management for quality-related activities
  • Understand compliance and reporting procedures and processes

About You
  • Preferably a bachelor's degree or equivalent course in engineering, quality assurance or project management
  • Delivered on major civil infrastructure projects or similar will be highly regarded
  • Experience in quality assurance, preferably within the construction industry on major infrastructure projects
  • Experience reviewing and compiling documentation
  • Experience with quality management systems, planning techniques and tools
