Base pay range

A$75,000.00/yr - A$90,000.00/yr

About the Role

Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking an ambitious Senior Accountant with 3+ years' experience to join our Business Advisory and Tax Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional who enjoys client engagement, problem-solving, and working across a broad range of businesses. You will work across a diverse client portfolio and tackle a variety of technical challenges under the guidance of experienced managers and partners. By offering tailored, forward-thinking solutions, you will help clients navigate financial complexities, improve business performance, and achieve their goals. You will play an integral part in mentoring junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and excellence in client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and reviewing tax returns and financial statements for a wide range of entities, including large and audited businesses
  • Preparing and reviewing BAS, GST, and FBT returns
  • Advising clients on general accounting and taxation matters
What We're Looking For

Essential qualifications, experience, and attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or similar
  • At least 3 years' experience in Australian public practice accounting
  • CA or CPA qualification (near completion or fully qualified)
  • Strong understanding of tax technical issues within a business advisory context
  • Confident communicator with experience in face-to-face client interactions
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • A team player who enjoys mentoring junior staff
  • Professional, personable, and proactive in approach
