Overview

Cleaning Assistant - Villa Maria Eastern Heights role at Catholic Healthcare.

Location: Eastern Heights, Qld. Casual positions. Pay rate: $31.70 per hour + superannuation. Not-for-profit employer.

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in residents' rooms
  • Support peers and maintain a cooperative team spirit
  • Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures
To be successful in this role you'll need
  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Previous experience working as a cleaner ideally
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
  • A reliable team player
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
