About the role:

  • As a Personal Carer, you'll provide care to clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.
  • Spend your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes, supporting with daily activities.
  • Provide in-home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry, and ironing.
  • Support clients in accordance with their individualised Care Plan.
  • Assist with community-based recreational and social activities.
  • Provide transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Role requirements:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or an equivalent qualification – Essential
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) – Essential
  • Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work – Essential
  • Experience with technology including smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.
  • Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
