Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Surveyor, the role involves planning and completing daily survey tasks to support the construction of pipelines, roads, well pads, and other infrastructure related to the project.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Complete field survey activities including:
    • Survey setout
    • As-built surveys
    • Topographic surveys
    • Establishing and maintaining survey control
  • Maintain and operate survey equipment.
  • Process daily survey data.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to AGPA code of practice, Surveyors Act, client requirements, and internal procedures.
  • Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement control measures.
  • Maintain clear and respectful communication with the Spatial team and other departments.
  • Commit to health, safety, and security standards and identify potential risks throughout MPK.
Desired Skills and Experience

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification (or currently completing) in surveying or relevant industry experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Survey, CAD, and GIS packages.
  • Ability to work safely at all times.
  • Ability to prioritize and schedule work effectively.
