Production Facilities Manager

We are seeking a talented and energetic individual to oversee and manage the new Boeing Defence Australia's production facility at Wellcamp Airport, Toowoomba.

This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of manufacturing/production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the facility and its assets to the highest standards, meeting regulatory requirements and supporting efficient and safe production operations while minimizing downtime.
  • Engage with local site management, service providers, contractors, and work with local teams to ensure a safe and compliant work environment for employees.
  • Develop relationships with suppliers and business stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in facility management, preferably in an aviation or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a large matrix organization.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing production processes, regulations, and safety standards (desirable).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience dealing with senior stakeholders and translating operational requirements into actionable deliverables.
  • Experience managing and coordinating site operations regarding local laws and company policies and procedures.
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Extensive knowledge in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Previous work experience in data analysis on an asset management system required (Maximo & Cognos preferable).
