Location: Kalgoorlie. Kalgoorlie is Australia's largest Outback city, located 595 km east-northeast of Perth.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, perform, and facilitate patient care while evaluating outcomes.
- Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal client care.
- Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance standards and policies.
- Act as a clinical resource and shift coordinator, guiding registered and enrolled nurses.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
- Eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated extensive post-registration experience with advanced skills and knowledge in your area of specialty.
- Proven experience in quality improvement activities and well-developed communication skills.
- Knowledge of performance management principles and current legislative requirements affecting healthcare practice.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is advantageous, alongside any post-registration certification.
- Awareness of disability services and the related access issues affecting patients.

The Goldfields region of the WA Country Health Service covers the Goldfields-Esperance Region of Western Australia. The region includes Kalgoorlie & Esperance, with several smaller hospitals in Laverton, Leonora, and Norseman. It is a culturally rich area with multiple Aboriginal communities and language groups, supporting a wide range of industries including mining, agriculture, aquaculture, and tourism.
