Help us help others improve their access, development, independence, and overall health and wellbeing.

We are expanding our Positive Behaviour Support team and seek experienced practitioners eager to make a difference and contribute to best practice. You will bring expertise, maturity, and strong time management and organisational skills to the role.

You will be providing supports to NDIS participants living in Caringbah, Wollongong & surrounding areas.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting NDIS participants and their families/carers to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
  • Evaluating, developing, and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support space.
  • Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising a positive behaviour support framework, committed to eliminating restrictive practices, in the home and community.
  • Ensuring individual plans reflect NDIS participants' goals, passions, and strengths.
  • Building knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those who support participants in their lives.
  • Acting as an advocate and role model for best practice.
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

To be considered suitable you will have:

  • Current suitability at the Proficient OR Advanced level as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, confirmed by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
  • Solid experience working as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
  • Completed a degree-level qualification as an allied health professional.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload.
  • Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and testing new ideas.
  • Genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
